Senior Fellowship of Green Templeton College. Opportunity to establish and direct the newly created Besrour Centre for Global Primary Care. The Professorship and Centre are supported by an endowment from the Fondation Docteur Besrour. The postholder will maintain an honorary clinical contract. Main Requirements The Professor will be
expected to: Education Provide strategic leadership for research, education, policy engagement, and capacity building in global primary care. Develop an ambitious program of global primary care research. Build international partnerships and collaborations that influence health policy and practice. Establish and lead the Besrour Centre for Global Primary Care. Develop a global community of practice. Support scholarship programs for Besrour Fellows. Lead international forums, conferences, research initiatives, and advocacy activities. Strengthen primary care systems and capacity globally, with particular attention to low- and middle-income countries. Work closely with colleagues across the Medical Sciences Division and the wider University. Contribute to Oxford's priorities in global health and health systems strengthening. Contribute to departmental research leadership and strategy. Play a leading role in the Global Primary Health Care research theme. Support the DPhil program and
supervise graduate students. Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Undertake clinical practice in accordance with arrangements agreed with NHS partners and the Department. #J-18808-Ljbffr
