Full Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and flexible individual with strong leadership qualities and have excellent communication skills? If so, you might be ideal for our newly designed 111p2/SPOA/ Triage & Assessment team .
We are looking for a Band 7 - Team lead to who is innovative and dynamic and ready to embrace the challenges involved in transforming mental health services in PTHB . The transformation is inline with local and national drivers to ensure that the public have open access to timely and effective mental health input.
The 111p2 & SPOA team is already operational and facilitating this ease of access to services, with the next ambitious step to rollout of the assessment team - therefore , you will be joining us at a pivotal time in the service development , with plenty of opportunity to help shape and develop the model of the unscheduled care pathways in PTHB., The team lead will ensure the comprehensive provision of a cost effective, accessible, appropriate, and responsive NHS 111/ SPOA / Triage & Assessment Mental Health Service for residents in Powys. Develop and coordinate a service that provides effective triage, assessment and evidence based mental wellbeing advice and ensure appropriate onward referral to local statutory, Third Sector and digital/on-line services. Where needed, this will also include Crisis Mental Health services. Responsible for the continued development of the NHS 111/SPOA/Triage & Assessment Team Mental Health service in Powys and will ensure service delivery is of a high professional standard, in line with Health Board policies and procedures. Establish and maintain effective care through the holistic and comprehensive assessment of service user's needs, planning, implementation, and review in accordance with All Wales Mental Health Measure legislation and the local Care and Treatment Planning policy and
procedures.
The post holder will be part of the PTHB Mental Health Manager's On-Call Rota, which is a 12-hour on-call period approximately 15 times a yearThe working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, though this may change depending on the needs of the service, to be discussed a interview.
