We are delighted to be able to advertise the brand new position of 'Primary School Teacher' at Q3 Academy Tipton. Based within our Growth Hub. You will be an incredible teacher and role model, specifically working with students in Key Stage 3 to close gaps from Key Stage 2. This will particularly focus on English and mathematics but also provide support across other subjects too.

This is crucial role in order to support students' future outcomes by working as part of an inclusion and transition team. In September 2025 we established the Growth Hub (Internal Alternative Provision) specifically to support Key Stage 3 and have already seen incredible success. You will be the next part to further support academic progress for these students, working alongside an established and cohesive team of colleagues, with good links across other schools as part of the Mercian Academy Trust.

If you are a dynamic, supportive, and inspiring teacher who has experience in curriculum planning and delivery across Key Stage 2, we want to hear from you. You are an incredible teacher who is passionate about your phase and able to inspire and motivate students to learn. Your passion for education is demonstrated in your daily work and you are willing to contribute to wider curriculum opportunity for students to further engage and support them in their learning.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Teaching small groups and one-to-one at Key Stage 3, primarily; Responsibility for adding value to every learner in each teaching group benchmarked against national criteria and data; Delivering, planning, and preparing lessons for groups or individual students in accordance with the necessary curriculum; Contribution to curriculum design within our alternative provision; Working as part of an incredible team that ensures creative and innovative learning and teaching occurs in every lesson; Providing pastoral and welfare support to students within the Growth Hub as appropriate.
