1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest from September.\n\nThis 1:1 Teaching Assistant role involves providing dedicated support to a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum, develop confidence and achieve their individual targets. \r\n The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals to deliver personalised support throughout the school day.\n\nAs a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting independence, encouraging engagement and helping to create a positive learning experience. \r\n This 1:1 Teaching Assistant opportunity would suit someone with previous experience supporting children with special educational needs who is patient, proactive and passionate about making a positive difference in a child's education. \r\n

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable\r\n
• Experience working within a primary school is advantageous\r\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\r\n
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service\r\n
