Summary
We are seeking an experience and passionate individual to join our team as a 0.5 Lecturer Coordinator for Special Educational Needs (SEN) within our Early Years and Education department. This role combines high-quality teaching with curriculum leadership and is ideal for an individual passionate about inclusive education and supporting the next generation of SEN professionals.
A key focus of the role will be the delivery and coordination of our level 3 qualification in the Principles of Special Educational Needs, ensuring it reflects best practice, current legislation and the evolving needs of the sector.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate in Education (or willing to work towards) and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Principles of Special Educational Needs or equivalent. It is essential that the candidate also have at least 3 years' experience of working directly with children and/or adults with special educational needs in schools or colleges.
