Full Job Description

  • Plan, prepare, and teach across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards
  • Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners, and that Welsh Government initiatives e.g. ESDGC; Welsh Ethos; ES; Employability are embedded and assessed effectively.
  • Adopt and use digital tools/solutions for delivery and assessment online in accordance with prescribed College endorsed platforms.
  • Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement in line with internal and external schedules/ criteria and college targets.

  • PhD/Doctorate or working towards in relevant subject area
  • Ability to deliver Courses Levels 1-6
  • Demonstrate expertise in successful HE teaching
