Our client based in Huntingdon is looking to recruit a full time HR Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a local established business reporting to the HR Director and lead/manage a team.

In this HR Manager position you will provide advice and guidance to colleagues to support the team who are responsible to deliver HR, payroll and pension functions. This is a hands on position and will require your advice on employment legislation, best practice and policy and procedures on a range of HR matters. You will be involved with recruitment and selection, remuneration, disciplinary and capability cases, complex hr cases, grievance, and redundancy. You will be responsible to identify situations where legal/safeguarding support is required. You will conduct appraisals for team members, develop and identify training requirements. You will attend and lead regular team meetings and keep up to date with current legislation, policies and procedures

To be considered for this HR Manager position you will ideally be educated to degree level, and ideally be a current member of CIPD. You will have previous experience in an advisory position in a HR environment. Experience of attending hearings up to and including dismissal. You will be a highly skilled communicator, able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.

Preference will be given to those who experience of multiple complex caseloads including disciplinary/ grievance/ TUPE and organisational change. Experience of working within education and / or shared services.
