The Opportunity

Are you looking for a new role where you can make a difference in your local community? Working on the reception of the building you will play a large part in the companies day to day activities.

* Location: Bexley Civic Offices, 2 Watling St, Bexleyheath DA6 7AT

* Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri rota between 07:45-20:00

* Hours per week: 40hrs

* Contract: Fixed term contract (1yr)

* Expected start date: early July 2019 (but can be brought forward)

What is the purpose of this role?

Amey is looking for a well presented and organised Receptionist to manage and provide front of house services including reception, meeting room bookings and key administration functions.

What will this role involve?

As our front line Receptionist, you are one of our first ambassador that visitor comes into contact with.

- Advise and direct customers to their designated area and redirect telephone calls to the relevant department when necessary

- Control site access for staff, visitors and contractors in accordance with safety procedures

- Manage unique stakeholders

- Coordinate, book and set up meeting rooms

- Assist with administration duties as required, including data entry, mailings, filings and photocopying

- Assist with the parking on site

What are we looking for?

- Previous reception experience or work experience in a fast-moving environment, preferably a customer facing role

SIA security badge to directly deal with security incidents (desirable)

- The ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise appropriately

- A strong communicator with a high customer service focus

- A confident telephone style

- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and time management

- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
