Location:Ely, Cambs
Salary: Negotiable Circa £20k - £25k pro rata
Hours: Monday to Friday, either 08:30-16:30 or 0900-1700 with 1 hour lunch daily (i.e. 35
hours per week)
Duration: 12 weeks min, may be longer
Totec Recruitment are proud to be working with a prestigious company that specialise in the design and supply of equipment for the petrochemical Industry. An experienced and qualified accounts person is urgently required to work in their modern, state of the art office, a short walk from Ely Station.
The Role:
The role has arisen to cover long term staff absence and will involve assisting the Management Accountant with their duties. The successful candidate must be flexible and be prepared to "muck in" with team activities as and when required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
To assist in:
- Year-End and Month-End preparation,
- Monthly Payroll
- Bank reconciliations
- May include some purchase ledger input
- Employee timesheet data processing in Excel
Requirements
- Experience of Sage 200 (preferred, Sage 50 could also be considered)
- Sage 50 Payroll experience
- Must have previous experience of assisting with year-end/month-end figures
- Purchase Ledge / Sales Ledger experience
- Multi-currency experience
- Min. of AAT Level 2 qualification (ideally higher)
- Microsoft Excel experience
- A confident and professional manner with the ability to deal with personnel of all levels within the company
