Sugarman Health & Wellbeing are currently seeking Healthcare Assistants to provide essential care and support to our Service Users in the Welwyn Garden City area. 32 year old male. Our Service User loves going out into the community. He loves music, toys, watching TV, going to concerts and local community events. You would become an essential part of his existing care team in this fulfilling and exciting role.

Our Service User are completely dependent upon care 24/7. We believe in promoting as much independence as possible to give our Service User the best quality of life.

We are looking for someone who is lively, personable and able to engage with him. You must have good communication skills and can be calm in an intense situation.

Personal care and manual handling is involved in the role. Clinical need are Epilepsy, Stoma care, Catheter care and medication. Our Service User has Spinocerebellar ataxia, learning disabilities and is registered blind. He also have rapid mood cycling disorder.

Theory and practical training will be provided to ensure you have the correct skills. This will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, develop your career and experience exciting things.

The hours of these packages are:

13 hour days (0(phone number removed)) Monday to Sunday

12 hour nights (Apply online only)) Monday to Sunday

4.5 hour double up (1(phone number removed)) Monday to Sunday

Requirements of the Healthcare Assistant role:

* Clinical and Emotional Support to Service User
* Personal Care and Manual Handling
* Liaising with family, friends and professionals
* Have a positive and solution-oriented attitude
* To be respectful and maintain professional boundaries
* Effective communicators who also respect the need for peace and quiet at times.
* Who will respect beliefs, values and instil a team approach
* Who embrace the goals clients wants to achieve

To apply for the Healthcare Assistant role you will need:

* The right to live and work in the UK

* A full clean UK driving license

* Minimum of 1 years experience in the Health Care Sector

* A clean DBS

* A positive and motivating attitude

* To carry out person-centred care

*£50 to the referrer once the referee has completed 150 hours worth of work.
