As a kitchen porter for Sodexo at Reeds School in Cobham, you will be a key part of the kitchen team. You'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and food and beverage preparation areas. What you'll do:

Washing all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment, and food service equipment.

Ensuring that the following are kept clean and tidy and to a very high standard:

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of working areas.

To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking, and to ensure the correct chemicals and detergents are always used.

Report all accidents (and near misses) to the chef.

To report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the supervisor

Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others

Basic food-handling skills

Be physically able to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

No previous work experience is required.
