The Account Manager position will be responsible for:

Managing direct sales in order to meet and hopefully exceed our business objectives and customer satisfaction targets within the designated territory.

Achieving strong customer satisfaction with brand equity

Promoting the Bio-Rad Life science product portfolio across the south-west of the UK

By achieving/exceeding sales, marketing and financial objectives for relevant products and territory

Executing business initiatives to grow sales and profitability as per team goals.

Responsibility for calling on all current and prospective customers on a regular basis, it is expected that 75% of the time is spent in the field.

Responsibility for ensuring that the company is always achieving its objective of customer satisfaction by coordinating between customers and the relevant departments within Bio-Rad, both pre- and post-sale

Liaising with product managers and specialists around the formulation of sales strategies, marketing plans and relationship management with key opinion leaders across the product portfolio

Life Science Degree and, ideally PhD and postdoc, experience

Sales experience in a customer facing role, preferably in life science industry.

Excellent technical and practical knowledge of technologies used in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics

Proven ability to prepare, implement and monitor business/marketing plans.

Good working knowledge of life science practices
