Youth Support Worker

Plan and deliver engaging and fun activities for youth participants at our open access mobile youth sessions
- Supervise and ensure the safety of young people during youth sessions
- Build positive relationships with young people and serve as a mentor and role model
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement program curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and program evaluations
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding program updates and participant progress
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities

Previous experience working of volunteering or working with young people in a structured setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish boundaries and maintain professionalism with youth participants
- Knowledge of child development principles and positive behavior management strategies
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by the organization
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
