About Freedom

Freedom Care is a growing company that has been providing services to parents, social services and the NHS for over 20 years. In this time we have grown into a multi-faceted organisation offering bespoke solutions based around a broad range of services. Our Social Care Services are carefully designed to provide specialist one-to-one advice and practical support on a range of development needs and complex issues. People are at the heart of our business, both in terms of the clients who receive our services and the staff that deliver them. As such, Freedom places great emphasis on the wellbeing of its staff and the support they receive in their role. The provision of caring and compassionate services does not simply require people with these attributes but the necessary skills and abilities to deliver them. We therefore ensure all our staff are equipped with the necessary training to perform their roles with confidence and to grow as individuals. To aid our teams we have also invested
heavily in information technology to allow your energy too be focused on the key tasks.

You need to be confident but have this underpinned by knowledge and experience and be calm, reflective and agile allowing you to pivot your approach to mirror the young person's needs on any given day.

The need for a curious and creative solution-based mind set will enable you to avoid blockages for the young person and allow you to develop a detailed understanding of who they are and what they need. You should be tenacious in your approach always looking to move the young person closer to their dreams and aspirations. You will also need a good sprinkling of resilience to not allow the demand of the role to deplete your energy levels and be able to not take the behaviors of the young person personally.
