Full Job Description

The aim of this role is to provide a high level of assistance to develop independent life skills.
Support with educational play activities and practical independent life skills
To provide some support with toileting and personal care.
Supervision at all times, to ensure safety.
To interact and participate with our son's development of self help
To develop skills through play and communication.
To use picture symbols to communicate schedule of activities
To provide stimulating play opportunities/activities
To go for nature walks, visit cafes and garden centres
To go to the supermarket and support with money to pay for shopping
To develop and support in basic cooking and baking skills
To participate in playing tennis, swimming, crazy golf and exercise
To maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Ability to work on own initiative
To prepare/give snacks and drinks throughout the day as required
To record any medication given and accidents as and when required
