Full Job Description

The overall aim of the Apprenticeship Programme is to enable the post holder to develop their knowledge and skills through experience as well as via Apprenticeship Training. To undertake a range of grounds maintenance duties and development work to include woodland management and gain the skills to use relevant equipment.,

  • The post holder will learn how to undertake a range of grounds maintenance duties and development work to include woodland management

  • They will gain the skills to use relevant equipment including handsaws, pole saws, chainsaws, leaf blowers and grass cutting equipment

  • They will learn how to work safely and to ensure relevant health and safety requirements are complied with at all times

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Team working, Initiative, Physical fitness, GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade 3 or D) Essential, Applicants must have a willingness to work in a range of outside spaces, some involving unpleasant conditions and in all weathers., Countryside worker
