Welfare Service Driver

SAMM Services (Midlands) LTD are a well-established portable toilet and Site Accommodation hire business. It is family run business who have over 39 years experience within the hire of portable accommodation and site solutions.

Daily Duties
Delivering and collecting portable toilets
Servicing, cleaning and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units
Carrying out pre hire checks on chemical toilets
All routes are pre scheduled by office staff
Maintaining high levels of customer service and ensuring equipment is delivered on time
Ensuring the vehicle is maintained and in a safe road worthy condition
Adhering to all company health and safety procedures
Working as an effective member of the welfare team
You will follow planned routes which is a multi-drop role the average number of services per day will be 20 drops.
You will be assigned to own vehicle

We require drivers who have a positive can-do attitude, that are willing to go the extra mile when needed and can work in a professional and responsible manner.
Must be able to work alone throughout the day as well as part of a small team at the start and finish of each day.
Self motivated, trustworthy, punctual and able to work to set schedules.
Must have good communication skills as you are the face of the company when delivering, collecting or servicing the units when onsite, drivers will be expected to call ahead on deliveries and collections
Must be able to fill out relevant paperwork correctly (Delivery, Collection and Service records)
Must have a full UK driving licence and experience driving 3.5T service Van
Ideally someone with previous experience within a similar role, training however will be provided.
Please be aware that some manual handling will be required in this role however full training will be provided.

A good geographical knowledge is required.

Minimum 40 hour per week, Monday to Friday, no weekend working.
