Full Job Description

In this role, you will ensure exceptional customer service by managing and fulfilling daily support requests for the Network Rail website within SLAs. You will enhance the website's content, user experience, and navigation, meeting production deadlines and incorporating engaging multimedia elements. By evaluating and reporting on the site's content effectiveness, you will continually refine and set best practices. You will collaborate with external development agencies to implement technical solutions, ensuring optimal user outcomes.
Additionally, you will maintain and update editorial policies and guidelines, providing training to uphold consistent digital standards across Network Rail’s platforms. Your communications will reflect Network Rail’s strategic goals and resonate with diverse audiences, making the website a reliable information source. Working with the Communication team, you will support national communications campaigns and urgent messaging, providing critical support to key user groups.

· Demonstrable knowledge of a number of digital marketing disciplines including; digital customer experience, digital insights, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and digital optimisation.

· Demonstrable successful experience of delivering communications through digital channels, such as website management or CRM systems.

· Experience of managing a diverse range of stakeholders and quickly, interpreting and reflecting their differing requirements.

· Proven ability to shape and deliver key messages to various audiences and their individual needs.

· Excellent writing skills, including ability to produce content quickly.

· Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proven strong attention to detail.

· Demonstrable experience of using a Wordpress content management system, Google digital marketing products (Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager etc) and a working understanding of HTML and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards., Safe behaviour is a requirement of working for Network Rail. As an arm’s length department of the UK Government, Network Rail is required to comply with a well-established pre-employment vetting process for all prospective employees.
