Full Job Description

We are seeking a Weaver on the Night Shift, to work as part of a team providing an efficient service within the weaving department with the purpose of maximising weaving and other operating efficiencies., Reporting into the Weaving Technical Supervisor, the night shift Weaver will assist in the maintenance of a safe working environment through the strict adherence to company health and safety rules and procedures.,

  • To ensure the efficient running of 9 Dornier air jet looms within the weaving department by ensuring that the looms are only operated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

  • Assist in the maintenance of a safe working environment

  • To identify and repair any faults such as broken ends, picks, and similar problems

  • Maintain production & quality by patrolling looms regularly

  • A high degree of flexibility is required to operate several different loom types, and also fulfil a variety of tasks such as, pin dropping, filling weft creel's, returning woven fabrics and similar duties. These tasks are determined by the Textiles Production Manager based on production requirements.

  • Previous knotter/weaving experience required


  • Good listening skills

  • In line with our ethos to be world leaders in sustainable comfort innovation, we weave our own chemical free mattress fabric in-house. We combine traditional methods with state-of-the-art weaving looms, to create a breathable and FR chemical free sleeping surface.

    Hours: Monday - Wednesday 6pm - 6am, 36 hours per week

    Please note: Whilst training, the successful candidate will do day shift hours. Monday - Wednesday 6am - 6pm & Thursday 6am - 12pm.
