Do you have experience of providing support and working with people who are suffering from mental distress? Are you looking to make a difference to someone's life?

Our WAVES service is for those with a diagnosis of or traits of, Borderline Personality Disorder, and we are looking to recruit a part time Facilitator to join our team in our two locations providing emotional and practical support which will enable service users to meet their emotional needs and achieve personal growth.

You will need to facilitate group sessions, provide one to ones and be a positive face across the service., Experience of working with people with personality disorders
The ability to manage your own administration and to be able to use a computer, particularly word processing packages, and to maintain effective administrative systems
The ability to communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person, sometimes over sensitive and/or complex issues
A commitment to service user involvement and empowerment

Fixed term contract until March 2027
18.5 hours per week (2. 5 days),14 hours per week (2 days)
Position 1:Tuesday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Felixstowe, Wednesday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Ipswich and Thursday 9.30 am - 1.12 pm hybrid working option)
Position 2: Wednesday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Bury St Edmunds and Thursday 9.00am - 5:00 pm hybrid working option)

Key requirements for this role, 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time) rising to 30 days with length of service)
