Full Job Description

What you'll be doingSafe handling and care of customers orders.
Ensure that the Company's Health & Safety Policies are rigorously applied.
To ensure all goods that are received are not damaged and the correct amounts are signed for.
To ensure all goods are loaded and packed safely into the container for delivery to the store & in accordance with daily
schedules.
All furniture is correctly labelled and stored, regular stock checks are completed, and ROA's dealt with within 48hrs
Responsible for ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Responsible for the safe storage and security of stock at all times.
Compliance with the Company's policies and directives.
To lead, coach, develop and motivate the drivers and warehouse staff.
To assist with the routing of vehicles and planning shift activities as required, daily trailer check list to be completed.
Ensure DFS vans are loaded correctly and safely
Maintain standards of regulatory compliance for delivery fleet, including all PMI and service requirements
Manage team to ensure we achieve high productivity and orders per hour through direction and motivation of the
warehouse team
Ensure that all vehicles are fully loaded and no orders are missed, inform office if anything is not loaded
Ensure that drivers are given there routes and start times in accordance with production
Only load full orders, no part orders to be loaded without authorization from Factory Manager or Production Manager
Responsible for any completed stock on or offsite
Responsible for the covering of holidays and the safe return of vehicles to site
The role is for you if...Customer Service experience.
Professional conduct at all times when representing the Company to its customers and staff.
Smart and presentable appearance at all times.
Capable of managing poor performance and encouraging great performance.
Good communication skills internally and with external stakeholders

Experience in customer service.
People management skills.
Examples of leading a team.
Basic understanding of driver compliance, CPC certified (desired not required)
