Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Warehouse and have responsibility for a small team of Warehouse Operatives.,

  • Ensuring the loading team is correctly resourced at all times by managing available staff versus work load at site and moving them between sites if required.

  • To ensure the products are stored and moved correctly, safely and in line with company standards.

  • Maintain full warehouse utilisation by planning racking space and floor space, seeking advice from Production or Supply Chain if in doubt.

  • To manage stock returns into the warehouse, including documentation, QA clearance and liaising with the appropriate departments to ensure proper recording on the system.

  • To ensure all incoming Raw material is labelled correctly and relocated according to instruction from the buying team.

  • Weekly stock check of Raw material on site and issuing of report to the buying team.

  • To ensure the safety of oneself and others at all times and adhere to good health and safety practice.


  • Any other reasonable duties, responsibility or requests that may be issued by management from time to time.

    Previous experience within a Warehouse Supervisory role within an FMCG environment.

  • Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift Truck licenses with substantial current and previous experience are essential.

  • Knowledge and understanding of IT stock control systems and the importance of accurate record keeping.

  • Excellent communciation skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organisation.

  • Good team working skills.

  • The ability to delegate taskes effectively.

  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

  • Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • The ability to supervise and motivate a team.
