Full Job Description

The warehouse team plays a crucial role in ensuring that these raw materials are delivered to the production team in a timely and accurate manner to uphold our standards of excellence., We are currently seeking a warehouse supervisor to lead our Warehouse team, support the warehouse manager, and ensure that proper procedures are followed and help establish and uphold best practices within the warehouse operations.

What will my role look like?

As a warehouse supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure that productivity goals are met, all warehouse processes are executed efficiently, and Cooplands' standards for safety and environmental compliance are upheld.

Role Duties:

  • Monitor and review of process performance on daily basis.

  • Improve stable operations and LEAN initiatives.

  • Plan and schedule the bakery's ingredients in alignment with business needs.

  • Ensure Food and feed safety standards are maintained.

  • Drive improvements on site and police standards.

  • Improve the reliability of process to improve health and safety efficiency.

  • Liaise with maintenance team to solve short and long-term issues.

  • Improve skill base of reporting to ensure competent workforce.

  • Identify your teams' training and development needs.

  • Conduct investigation meetings when required.

  • Maintain and improve the existing continuous improvement culture in the Assembly Department.

  • Support and promote the use of continuous improvement/reliability excellence tools like 5Why, RCA's 5S, lead CI initiatives for team.

  • Manage conflicting priorities within tight deadlines.

    Level 3 Food Safety/ Stock Control training / Coaching and managing people

  • HACCP Level 3

  • IOSH Managing Safely course or NEBOSH General Certificate

  • MHE Awareness

  • Racking Safety and awareness

  • RCA training

  • Fully IT literate.

  • Leadership Qualification at Level 3 or above, 5 years + of experience in Food process industry.

  • Good people skills and the ability to motivate team.

  • Practical approach to problem solving.

  • Excellent leadership skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead, coach, engage and develop teams.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent organization skills to set priorities.
