Warehouse Shift Manager (Backs)

We are looking for a Full Time Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Thornbury. As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of the day-to-day warehouse operations at the site, ensuring the operation is running smoothly, and supporting the Warehouse Operation Managers with a variety of tasks that add value to the operation.,

• Drive shift performance through the team leaders to achieve KPIs


• Forward planning of operation and delivery of plan in line with live volumes and resource


• Ensure all requirements relating to safety, health, environment and quality are being fully implemented in the warehouse or escalate


• Day to day reviews of plans and system maintenance in line with live volumes


• Ensuring training and development needs are identified and reviewed frequently
  
  Thorough knowledge and hands on experience of a warehouse function within the FMCG Distribution Industry


• A passion for encouraging teamwork, focusing on creating an innovative culture where all employees can voice their suggestions and ideas


• Excellent team management skill for developing Team Leaders


• An analytical mind-set


• Flexibility to cover a variety of shift patterns in the future


• You'll come in contact with Trade Unions (previous experience with this would be beneficial)
