Warehouse Operative / Van Driver

Western Electrical, part of the UK's leading electrical wholesaler Edmundson Electrical Ltd, currently have a vacancy with an immediate start available, for a full time Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join our experienced team at our branch in Cattedown, Plymouth, Devon.

The successful applicant will preferably have previous electrical wholesale experience and duties will include, but not limited to, picking and collating customer orders, accepting goods into stock, stock management, liaising with the sales team and organising van delivery schedules whilst ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

This is also a customer facing role so a good personality with a polite, good natured attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast paced business are also very important.

A full driving licence will be required as there will be times when driving our Mercedes LWB Sprinter vans is required.

A forklift licence would be advantageous but full training would be given.

• electrical wholesale: 1 year (preferred)


• Warehouse experience: 2 years (preferred)

Basic 45 hour week, Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm plus 1 x 4 hour Saturday morning overtime on a rota basis.,
