Warehouse operative / Picker

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in our busy warehouse in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties including materials handling, stock management, and operating warehouse equipment. Duties: - Utilise mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain warehouse equipment. - Manage stock by using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory. - Handle heavy lifting tasks to load and unload goods from lorries. - Perform picking and packing duties to fulfil orders accurately and efficiently. - Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse safely. - Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required. Requirements: - Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous. - Proficient in materials handling techniques and practices. - Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. - Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is
desirable. - Competent in stock management procedures including stocktaking and replenishment. - Skilled in load/unload operations and picking/packing processes.
