Warehouse operative / Picker

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to carry out duties in our Stores. This role will ensure the smooth delivery of components and parts into our production facility. A valid Fork Lift Truck licence would be beneficial, but training can be offered for the right candidate.

Tasks will include:

• Accepting deliveries; confirming quality and quantity against delivery notes


• Ensure paperwork (e.g. Delivery notes) is passed to the office.


• Put away stock and maintain bin locations


• Ensure parts are clearly identified with part numbers


• Responsible for receiving in-house manufactured parts and ensuring they are correctly identified and stored


• Picking parts for production


• Warehouse/ Yard & Production bays; keep tidy and maintain stock locations


• Preparation of cases and accessories for dispatch


• Loading of cabinets or parts safely without causing damage.


• Assess and arrange couriers for dispatch of parts in order to meet agreed delivery requirements/dates.
  
  Good numeracy skills


• The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.


• A valid Counterbalance truck FLT licence/certificate (beneficial).
