Warehouse Operative

To complete daily tasks in line with our business requirements, ensuring the highest standard of accuracy, safety and housekeeping within the Warehouse team.

Key Tasks:

• Load and Unload vehicles as required.


• Ensure customers' orders are picked, packed and shipped against agreed standards.


• Stock take duties as required.


• Complete all warehouse tasks with the highest degree of accuracy.


• Ensuring stock is moved & transacted correctly.


• To maintain and improve Warehouse standards, pick accuracy, location accuracy and deliver the best possible service for our customers.
  
  FLT Counterbalance License (preferred)


• Numeracy and Literacy


• IT Literate


• Good communication skills


• Ability to prioritise workload


• Self-Motivated with a strong team ethic


• Knowledge of Warehousing


Health & Safety

• Every employee has a duty to respect and implement the AWMS H&S Policy and the procedures for the processes that are applicable to their area of work and responsibility.


• Ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping


• Be vigilant in the workplace actively reporting any H&S risks


Preferred Experience:

• Good warehousing knowledge


• Previous use of Excel, word and other software programs., Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: £12.04 per hour

Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 16:30, Fri 08:00 - 15:30

Holidays: 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
