Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods and products.,

• Picking and packing orders for dispatch and ensuring every order is packaged and labelled correctly.


• Loading goods on to delivery vehicles.


• Taking delivery of goods and supplies ensuring they are handled carefully and appropriately to avoid damage or breakage.


• Ensuring goods-in are brought to account correctly using the scanner.


• Carrying out stock counts as and when required.


• Operating equipment as trained in a safe manner.


• Handling any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner.


• Keeping areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.


• Making recommendations to aid efficiency and add value.


• Working as part of a team.
  
  Prior experience in a warehouse environment


• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures


• Experience working with a warehouse management system (WMS) is an advantage


• Experience operating forklifts is an advantage, or willingness to learn
