Full Job Description

This role is a critical position required to support the current and future growth of the Howardson Group business. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the warehouse operative's role involves ensuring the physical material on site is moved, stored, and picked before being put on the factory floor for production.,

  • Moving material around the facility.

  • Picking material from the internal storage systems.

  • Ensuring all stock is in the correct locations for production, stock movements are accurately recorded onto the ERP System, and all paperwork is completed correctly.

  • Ensuring all outbound paperwork is accurate, provided within a timely manner, and filed away appropriately.

  • Physically controlling goods in and out and ensuring this is reflected in the ERP system.

  • Complete yearly and monthly stock check activities.

  • Print and secure labels as required.

  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.

  • Other admin tasks around health and safety for the factory.

    Ability to work to deadlines

  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills

  • Good Excel and MRP/ERP skills

  • Driving licence

  • Experience within a similar role

  • Background in manufacturing/engineering
