Full Job Description

  • Order picking: You will be responsible for picking orders accurately and efficiently from the chilled warehouse using a handheld scanner. Attention to detail is key, as you will need to ensure the correct product and quantity are picked.

  • Quality control: You will be responsible for checking the quality of the products you are picking, making sure they are in good condition and meet the company's standards.

    • Stock replenishment: You will be responsible for replenishing stock as required, ensuring that the warehouse is kept in a tidy and organized manner.
  • Health and safety: You will be responsible for following health and safety procedures at all times, including wearing the correct PPE and reporting any hazards or incidents to your supervisor.

  • Teamwork: You will be part of a team of warehouse operatives, and you will be expected to work closely with your colleagues to ensure that all orders are picked and dispatched on time.

    Aligra is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client in Avonmouth. Our client is a leading logistics company that specializes in chilled distribution., Aligra have been established since 2007 and have since implemented supply partnerships with a number of the UK's leading logistics companies. Whilst we work across all industries, we specialize in recruitment and talent management for the Automotive and Engineering, Driving and Industrial, Hospitality and Professional and Executive sectors.

    As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for order picking in a chilled environment. You will work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, with weekend working required. The rota will be well in advance, so you can plan your life around your work.
