Warehouse & Logistics Manager

You will be part of the Production Operations team and be responsible for all warehousing activities, including management of warehouse operatives and ensuring stock accuracy and digital system cleanliness. Working with the logistics and compliance teams, you will create and implement warehousing and logistics processes. You will drive material issuance and delivering of transport, customs and logistics solutions to enable the global delivery of AALTO products.,

• You will act as focal for all warehouse and logistics activities at AALTO.


• You will actively engage in ERP implementation and improvement activities as and when required.


• You will manage warehouse operations and associated staff members to ensure stock level accuracy and warehouse efficiency within a bonded store environment.


• Working with business stakeholders, you will develop and implement logistics and transportations solutions, including policies and procedures, supporting AALTO Ports globally.


• In collaboration with Procurement, you will setup and manage accounts with transport, customs and logistics providers.


• You will ensure accurate management of inventory both in terms of physical stock and digitally within ERP.


• Collaborating closely with production planning & control (PPC), you will ensure enablement of materials to shop floor and lineside locations as required.


• You will work closely with the PLM and ERP team(s) to ensure all equipment and classification details are maintained in the various systems.
  
  Excellent Leadership, management and communication skills in a fast-paced environment


• Comfortable working with and helping to establish MRP and ERP systems.


• Innovative, flexible, agile and self-driven leader with a demonstrated portfolio of Logistics, Transport solutions and operational management.


• Knowledge of Aircraft or Space logistics / transport standards and certification requirements.


• CILT qualified/ membership is desirable.


• Ability to work in ambiguity and comfortable in creating and establishing processes and policies.


• A customs practitioner for Defence and Dual Use products with understanding of customs classifications to allow compliant shipment globally.
