Warehouse Assistant

Refresh Cartridges, an online distributor of computer consumables & stationery are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with good communication and people skills to assist in our Torquay Warehouse on Newton Road, close to Torbay Hospital. You would ensure various warehouse tasks are completed to a high standard including order picking, order preparation, shipment loading and unloading. The job would also involve an element of customer facing work., Previous experience isn't necessary, however as a small team we depend on every employee working hard, reliably and to a high standard. Having the right attitude and being able to self-motivate is incredibly important as you will be working in a position where you make up a large percentage of a friendly, close team. You will be on your feet and moving around our warehouse picking and packing online orders and performing a variety of tasks for the duration of the day so should have a reasonable level of fitness. We are a friendly, privately owned company with a loyal customer base and the most important thing to us when it comes to maintaining our reputation and working environment is that every colleague strives to be the best they can be and approaches their work with a good attitude.

The successful candidate will be offered an initial salary of £11.50 per hour. We require six hours on a Saturday (09:00 - 15:00) and then ideally a Thursday (12:30 - 17:30) and Friday (12:30 - 17:30) to make up a 16 hour week. If either the Thursday or Friday weren't suitable we could discuss swapping these out for alternative day(s).

We offer 6 weeks of paid holiday a year and we open standard office hours Monday to Saturday meaning that if your hours were to change they would never be unsociable.
