Volunteer Shop Assistant

Become a volunteer here in Oxfam Sudbury, Sophie the Manager and her volunteering team would love to hear from you. We have roles for those who are happy to work on the till meeting and greeting, along with those who just wish to treasure hunt in the back rooms away from public view.

We also have an online team which we would love to expand along with admin responsibilities. We are also looking for volunteer who have an interest in areas like Books, Stamps, Antiques and Ladies fashion. You don't need to be an expert, just have an interest.

If you wish to gain new valuable experience, meet new people or even want to learn supervisory skills we can help you. This could be the way to gain that experience you need for your next paid job role?

All we ask is that you are happy to work in a diverse and inclusive team.

Oxfam believes that no one should be out of pocket for volunteering with us so, reasonable travel costs are refunded. Also if yu volunteer for over 5 hours in one shift, lunch costs can also be claimed.
