Full Job Description

VM Operations

  • Plan all seasonal creative schemes for windows & instore implementations for all categories, liaising with Paris-based design team and local suppliers for implementation.


  • Oversee all overnight installations with suppliers.

  • Ensure all costs are within budget & communication shared if exceeded.

  • Participate and attend the setup of all in-store events, including external pop ups and façade executions.

  • Oversee all contractors and local suppliers on VM projects and installations, including post installation visits where necessary to ensure perfect delivery.

  • Experience working with vendors and understanding of fabrication and production processes.

  • Maintain the VM tool database, maintaining store inventories, logistics, budget, and storage costs.

  • Ensure sustainability is reviewed regularly, working to always have a post life plan for assets.

  • Manage annual VM budget, reviewing regularly, making sure each spend is recorded and data shared with Paris and finance monthly.

  • Ensure all invoices and purchase orders are raised and invoiced efficiently, aligning with budget.

  • Maintain and update all VM assets saved in the internal share drives, updating, and archiving where necessary.

  • Visit all locations after installation to ensure guidelines are achieved.

  • Oversee photography & videography seasonally:

  • + Send all files to Paris within the timeline required.
    + Records of all VM installations to be filed.
  • Carry out any additional duties as directed by the UK &; Ireland VM Manager


  • VM Communication
  • Excellent communication skills to represent the business in meetings and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in UK and France HQ as well as external partners.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Support the UK & Ireland VM team to implement visual directives issued by Paris in the boutiques and department store concessions.

  • Maintain a consistent knowledge of product and best sellers to maximise sales by promoting certain products.

  • Participate to the EMEA VM summits and/or UK & Ireland meetings.

  • Maintain consistent communication with all internal and external counterparts including Head Office UK.

  • Manage the VM annual calendar for distribution to the VM network.

    Extensive experience in VM Operations & Project management within a luxury fast paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.

  • Impeccable attention to detail, excellent time management and flexibility with work hours.

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Extremely well organised.

  • Proficient in Adobe packages & Microsoft - PPT, Excel and Word.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
