We have a fantastic opportunity for a top performing field sales professional to join our sales and account management team. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility of working a mix of remotely and on patch within our Surrey territory as a Senior Account Manager.

This is a field sales role with a focus on developing high value new business opportunities whilst managing an account base of Yell's mid-spend customers.

The position will suit an established sales professional with a proven record of growing sales revenue in a digital marketing environment. Someone who is ready for their next big career step.

What you'll be doing...

As a Senior Account Manager, you will have an extensive portfolio of products to help you identify valuable solutions for your customers including Pay Per Click, SEO and Agency Social; as well as Yell.com, Smart Performance, Websites, Video and Reputation Management.

The primary function of the role is to retain, nurture and grow your customers' product spend into high performing digital marketing solutions, whilst actively sourcing new business. Essentially, the need to develop and grow your client's digital portfolio will be your everyday driver as well as acquiring new high value prospects who are looking for a digital agency level solution.

  • Managing a generous portfolio of clients, with annualised spend ranging from £5000 - £12,000.

  • Dealing with overall account values of circa £1 million annually

  • This role involves nurturing your customer base which you will be targeted to retain and grow each quarter; along with the acquisition of new prospects that you will self-source.

  • Delivering growth sales from our full range of digital solutions (including agency products) - actively identifying and acquiring new digital opportunities by developing advertising programs that meet clients' needs and the Yell agency minimum spend thresholds.

  • Responsible for delivering your Growth target of high value new business by actively identifying, hunting and acquiring new digital opportunities within the market.

  • Selling Yell's digital product portfolio at a high level to propose the right commercial model that will maximise revenue and meet the customer requirements.

  • Building long lasting relationships with your account base.

  • Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders within the wider business, including DAD's, KAD's, customer service and the Yell agency.

    Demonstrable experience in selling high value digital solutions.

  • Ability to demonstrate a highly successful track record of digital sales performance

  • A strategic thinker with a high understanding of digital marketing campaigns and technology.

  • Resilient and disciplined with tenacity. Never afraid to ask for testimonials which supports their client dedicated ethos.

  • Ability to demonstrate a highly effective personal development plan to continuously adapt to the digital market and keep in touch with what our competitors are doing.

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex digital information clearly and concisely.

  • Emotionally intelligent, demonstrating respectful, professional and collaborative approaches to team members and supporting functions within the business.

  • Task orientated, everyday willing to go the extra mile for their client.

  • Flexible - able to adapt to changing priorities and targets and strategies quickly.
