The Virtual Business Development Manager will work in a telephony and virtual environment to develop strong commercial relationships with intermediary partners within the Mid Corporate Sector.

How you'll help us make health happen:

  • Developing strong commercial relationships with Intermediary partners and securing new business clients and expansions in the Mid Corporate sector virtually and in person. Working with key stakeholders within Bupa UK the role ensures the continual development and growth of the portfolio for PMI, Cashplan and Dental.

  • Achieving year on year business and profit growth through the provision of a virtual service.

  • Interacting with senior management within intermediaries to agree support, strategic direction and operational efficiency and effectiveness

  • Managing Existing intermediary relations with presentations to intermediaries and clients to maximise registrations.

  • Be required to be pro-active in maximum conversion of new business.

  • Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls in relation to the New Business enquires and deliver quality and volume targets set in line with business plans across a portfolio of clients aligned to a particular broker channel.

  • To demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a desire to succeed in a highly regulated and ever-changing environment

    Proven experience of delivering new business clients and building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships and maximising business opportunities.

  • Strong determined communicator and negotiator with experience of senior level selling, persuasion, and negotiation

  • In depth knowledge of successfully increasing revenue, profits and growth within Intermediary market regulated environment such as the healthcare market.

  • Track record of 'treating customers fairly' and delivering compliant sales within a regulatory environment is key.

  • Acts ethically and honestly in all dealing with customers and colleagues building compliance, authenticity and trust.

  • Demonstrates necessary gravitas to be viewed externally as the voice of Corporate in Bupa.

  • Capable of representing Bupa at various external forums
