Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our Totton branch nestled between the beautiful New Forest and vibrant city of Southampton. With the option to also work at our Lyndhurst branch, you'll have the freedom to choose a location that suits you best.
Our friendly and experienced team prides themselves on providing the best care for pets and clients alike, and the role offers a good balance between consulting, operating and preventative healthcare. We offer 20-minute appointments for non-routines to ensure our patients receive high-quality care, and our team have sufficient time to provide thorough workups and excellent client communication.
We have various in-house diagnostic equipment to aide you including ultrasonography, digital radiography, Vetscan laboratory machines, endoscopy, with dental x-ray available at our Lyndhurst branch. We have a local IVC referral centre to offer support for more complex cases.
Our dedicated practice manager and supportive colleagues will ensure that you have all the resources and support you need to excel in your career. We encourage our teams to explore their own clinical interests and are always striving to improve our clinical care. One of our vets is currently undertaking a dental certificate and we have a radiology certificate holder along with active interests in dermatology within the team. You'll be working alongside 4 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN and 5 receptionists/administrators., We encourage our Veterinary Surgeons to have clinical freedom, case independence, and continuity with an interesting and varied caseload. We would happily support and encourage you in developing your own clinical interests and career advancement. We of course have the various in-house diagnostic equipment to aide you, along with a local IVC referral centre.

We can offer flexible rota patterns within our opening times of 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a 1 in 5 rotation with TOIL given in return.
