Veterinary Receptionist - Macqueen Veterinary Centre

As a Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include answering phones, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, completing insurance forms, taking payments and most importantly, providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the clinic.

• An excellent communicator with strong empathy


• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public


• Previous Receptionist experience is essential, Veterinary experience is a plus!


• Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing, stressful and emotional situations


• A positive attitude, a willingness to work hard and excellent teamwork skills
  
  Macqueen Vets is a 1^st opinion small animal practice in Devizes, Wiltshire, that has been established for over 20 years. The practice has an excellent reputation, not only having achieved RCVS Tier 3 SA Hospital status but having also been the first practice in the UK to gain five 'Outstanding' RCVS awards for patient-care, consultation, team-work, client service and diagnostics. There are multiple Certificate Holders within the team, who carry out Orthopaedic & Ophthalmology referrals in house. The attractive site is well-equipped and houses a CT Scanner.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at our Macqueen Veterinary Centre in Devizes!

You'll be joining us on a permanent basis, where you will be working 20 hours per week to include morning, afternoon and evening shifts and a share in the Saturday rota.
