Full Job Description

  • Dismantling and Reassembling: Competently dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles to an exceptionally high standard.

  • Strip and Fit: Responsible for strip and fitment of all mechanical, electrical, and trim components.

  • Vehicle Range: Comfortable working on a wide range of vehicles, including supercars, luxury cars, vans, prestige vehicles, and classic cars.

  • System Understanding: Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of multiple vehicle systems and subsystems.

  • Job Card Adherence: Work to a job card within the estimated time frame.

  • Damage Identification: Identify additional parts which are damaged but not included on the job card and report these for potential supplementary work.

  • Quality Standards: Ensure work is carried out to BS1015 accreditation.

    Prioritization: Must be able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Repair Methods: Follow correct repair methods.

  • Work Ethic: Reliable, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Qualifications: ATA/IMI/NVQ/VCQ qualifications are an advantage. However, candidates with a wealth of experience within the motor industry are highly encouraged to apply.


  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • A passion for cars, particularly luxury and high-performance vehicles.

  • Relevant certifications in refrigerant handling as per EC 842-2006 regulations (IFATE) (InAutomotive) (Institute of The Motor Industry) ., MET: 2 years (preferred)
