Full Job Description

  • Conversions of LCV's including the installation of racking and storage components as well as in house designed items as well as electrical ancillaries and components.

  • Fitting of electrical item including external/Internal lighting along with battery management ancillaries

  • Carrying out all UK based conversion repairs with occasional overnight stays when required.

  • Maintain good workshop housekeeping.

  • Complete all job cards on our internal system in a timely manner, providing a detailed summary of work performed, and parts used.

  • Assist in product development with the Design and Development Engineers

  • Complete other duties as assigned as required by the business.

  • Feeding back issues or possible issues to Aftersales Manager.

    We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy vehicle conversion team, helping to install bespoke customer specifications.


  • The candidate should have a flair for craftsmanship, an eye for detail and have a proactive, hands on approach. Together with excellent organisational and communication skills, the candidate should have experience in fitting parts, installation of components, use of hand and power tools, and electrical knowledge would be helpful. This is an exciting challenge with lots of opportunities for learning and developing skills.,
  • Attention to detail and consistent quality in all stages of work and reporting.

  • Automotive electrical knowledge with practical experience

  • A methodical and logical approach to problem solving

  • Flexible approach to working hour to suit customer expectations.

  • Able to work independently, self-motivated with initiative, high energy and responsible attitudes towards customers and work undertaken.

  • Good organisational skills

  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong team player

  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

  • Computer literate

  • Fluency of English, Literacy - written, numeric and IT (Microsoft Office Packages)

  • Full UK Driving Licence


  • Desirable Skills
  • City & Guilds/IMI Level 3 or higher/HNC/HND in mechanical automotive/electrical engineering

  • An appreciation of design & analysis techniques

  • An understanding of Front-End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD)

  • Able to interpret and understand 2D engineering drawings

  • Full on-site product training will be provided
