Full Job Description

+ In this role, you will ensure equipment is maintained and working - assist in any troubleshooting, and approve data.
+ Ensuring records are up to date, maintained, and complete for new and current methodologies. Data review of customer test results and ongoing instrument data parameters & data is fit for purpose.
+ Supporting Team leader and Area Manager in KPI, Data & performance areas. Help to build a positive team culture. Assist in QMS, HSSE, and departmental/interdepartmental meetings
+ Ensure procedures are followed and the team is trained and supported in following them.
+ Ensure running of samples to meet the requirements of our regulators (DWI/EA), customers & UKAS.
+ Identify needs of the team, ensure & monitor team development and progression within Thames Water schemes. Deliver bespoke training to the team. Be the point of knowledge for the team around metals methods, QMS, forms, and knowledge.

+ Proficiency in conducting routine sample analysis testing, particularly in the domain of metals testing.
+ A solid understanding of laboratory quality systems and proficient management of quality data, encompassing adherence to ISO17025 standards, is essential.
+ Demonstrated experience in collaborative teamwork, and a proven track record of providing mentorship to junior colleagues is advantageous.
+ Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and offering knowledgeable advice and support to team members are valued qualifications for this position.

+ Competitive salary up to £46,790 per annum depending on skills and experience.
