Full Job Description

Moody's KYC is seeking a highly skilled and passionate User Researcher and Insights Specialist to join our team. As a User Researcher, you will play a vital role in understanding the needs, behaviours, and preferences of our users, thereby driving the development and enhancement of our product offerings.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather user insights, conduct research studies, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our products and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute user research studies to uncover valuable insights that inform product development decisions.

  • Employ a variety of research methods, such as surveys, interviews, usability tests, and user observation, to understand user needs, motivations, and pain points.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define research objectives, develop research plans, and prioritize research efforts.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay up to date with industry trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data collected from user research and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts that effectively communicate user insights and contribute to product strategy.

  • Work closely with the design team to conduct usability tests and iterate on design solutions based on user feedback.

  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to understand user adoption and engagement patterns and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Stay abreast of the latest user research methodologies, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with the team.

    Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a User Researcher or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful research projects and their impact on product development.

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.


  • Proficiency in conducting various user research techniques, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and ethnographic research.


  • Familiarity with UX design principles and ability to work closely with design teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into actionable insights.

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
