Full Job Description

  • Excellent collaboration across Trust Schools, extensive learning communities and specialist subject leads to enhance the learning of our young people and enhance your personal development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed, highly motivated KS2 teacher. This role could include a TLR for leading core subjects across KS2 for a candidate with suitable experience.

  • We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher with passion and the ability to enthuse, engage and inspire young people across the full age range and ability range. This is a tremendous opportunity for a motivated professional who is dedicated to delivering high quality lessons and extracurricular provision for pupils. An interest or specialism in maths, art/textiles, DT or French would be an advantage.

As a member of the Wessex Learning Trust, we work collaboratively and believe in empowering our staff to grow and take the lead. Across all our schools, we work together, share staff - and share expertise.

    The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding teacher.

  • Have an excellent understanding of the end of key stage assessments and standards.

  • Have excellent skills in planning and teaching a curriculum that inspires children to learn.

  • Be able to recognise and nurture every child's academic and personal development.

  • Demonstrate effective communication and collaborative skills and bring enthusiasm to the role.

  • Demonstrate highly effective and purposeful assessment, tracking and feedback strategies.

  • Have a clear commitment to the highest standards of achievement, progress and behaviour.

  • Have experience of supporting children with SEND needs within a classroom.

  • Be a flexible, fun and energetic person who fosters a love of learning in their classroom.
