Full Job Description

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic senior nurse, with a strong work ethic and a solid clinical background in Chemotherapy and Haematology, to lead our well-established team on the Haematology & Oncology Ambulatory Day Unit for a one year Fixed Term Post.

The Team are an integral part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and work closely with medical colleagues, diagnostic services, inpatient and outpatient teams to provide a holistic and patient-centred service. The Team have strong links with Kent Oncology Centre to ensure a streamlined pathway of care for patients., To manage the day to day running of the department, ensuring an effectiveand efficient nursing service within available resources.To ensure provision of high quality patient centred care.To be responsible for the safe and effective running of the unit ensuringappropriate coordination of patients to maintain an effective flow through the unit.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
