Full Job Description

Hours: 8am - 6pm weekdays. Where bookings allow, an additional 3 hours may be required on Thursday nights during the season for an all camp cook out dinner!

Summary of Position:

  • Ensure the welfare and safety of the children Deliver outstanding, structured activities (outdoor education, bushcraft)


  • Encourage participation and development Contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional and social care offered by Ultimate Activity Camps.


  • Take on a pastoral role as a group leader on camp

    Experience of working with children and delivering activities

  • Passionate about developing children through outdoor education

  • Good organisation and communication skills.

  • A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.

  • Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and outdoor education industry.


  • Desirable Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience taking sole charge of a group of children Qualified or studying towards NGB qualification in adventurous activities, such as archery, bushcraft and mountaineering.

  • Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or Outdoor First Aid qualification

    £93.38 - £135.47 per day (Including 12.07% Holiday Pay)
