Becoming a fire engineer is a great career path to take however you must be open to learning how to operate the many different types of systems that exist in the UK. This particular role will focus on the maintenance Fire Dampers, Fire Doors & general mechanical life safety systems, with the opportunity to learn how to complete remedial work as well.

There is a world of regulations that stipulate how these systems must be installed & maintained and we will train successful applicants on how to service these systems. The majority of your training would be in-house by being paired with our experienced engineers, this would be supplemented by external training courses where necessary.

The starting salary is £24,000 with additional increases coming into effect as you progress within the industry and complete courses.

We ensure communication between company management and staff is consistent and all members of our management team are approachable.

We conduct yearly appraisals which includes a wage review. We will initially also complete multiple catch-ups over your first few months ahead of your 6 month probation expiry to ensure you are fully aware of how you are performing. We look to perform regular Company events including Summer & Christmas parties, Company Sports Day, Royal Park Half Marathon, and the annual PFS Group Bake Off.
