Trainee Engineer Full Time

Air Tightness Solutions Ltd. are specialists in non destructive testing for the building industry. We are looking for an enthusiastic technician to join our growing team., The successful technician will receive training to become a fully certified test engineer for air leakage and sound insulation testing on domestic and commercial building projects across the UK.

Key tasks (after induction period)

• Conducting Air Tightness testing


• Conducting Ventilation Performance testing


• Conducting Acoustic Sound Insulation testing


• Fault detection


• Report writing


• Presentation of findings to clients


• Liaising with the site team


• Conducting related services as required
  
  The ability to learn new technical skills


• Reliable and consciences


• The ability to solve problems


• Clean full driving license


• The ability to work without supervision


• The ability to communicate confidently both verbally and in writing


• Inter-personal skills


• Microsoft software literacy and numeracy


• Physically capable of carrying test equipment on construction site


Qualifications and Experience

Preferable:

Science A Level, Relevant NVQ - Level 3 or BTECH - Level 3 or Relevant Science Degree

Clean driving license, This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week, you should be available to work some evenings and weekends. You must have some work experience in a customer facing role and have good written and spoken communication skills with a personable manner. Site visit work on completed construction sites with home office base.
