Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Document Controller to join our Field Solutions part of the business, reporting into our Document Control Manager. The role will be based out of our Winnersh office or our client's site with home based working available on a weekly basis. The successful candidate will become part of a respected and ambitious team who support a variety of different projects.

Duties will include:

  • Providing support with to document numbering, revisions, and the application of metadata

  • Receiving, issuing, and controlling project documentation

  • Checking compliance and quality of documents

  • Co-ordinating with other departments to ensure the information being processed complies with their requirements for handover.

  • Updating project documentation trackers

  • Maintaining project filing

  • Uploading & downloading documentation to and from a document management system

  • Filing, scanning & printing when required

    Experience is not required as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive can-do attitude and an eye for detail, have excellent organisational skills and be willing to learn new software.
