Trainee Bootmaker / Sewing Machinest

We are expanding our team at the Richmond factory and are seeking individuals eager to learn and grow as bootmakers. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll contribute to the production of specialist boots for Military, Police, Motorcycle, and Walking.

The role involves hands-on experience in various stages of the bootmaking process, including cutting, preparation, sewing, finishing, and dispatch, as well as working in other areas of the business such as the factory shop, offering our specialist fitting service to customers.

The Person

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn new skills, and excellent face-to-face and written communication abilities. Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask are crucial. While prior experience is not necessary, any background in a workshop or factory environment could be advantageous. The role requires working with hands, collaborating within a team, and the flexibility to work independently.

Training will be provided on the job, ensuring you acquire the skills needed to excel in bootmaking.
